About the Admissions Process

Here are the questions we hear most often about the admissions process.

  • Is Kids World licensed?

    Yes, Kids World is licensed by the state of Virginia.



  • Is Kids World year-round?

    Kids World preschool program runs from August to June and offers summer camp in July for 3 weeks. 


    Kids World infant and toddler program is year-round and participates in summer camp activities. 

  • Do you close throughout the year?

    Kids World follows all Federal Holidays and closes for a week during Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/ New Year.

    All families are given a detailed calendar during enrollment.

  • How does the school/teachers communicate with parents?

    Kids World uses Brigthwheel for daily reports, pictures, and updates to send to parents on a daily basis.

    Kids World teachers send monthly newsletters with class and school updates. 


    We also scheduled two parent-teacher conferences a year.
